After a long winter and a couple of rainy days, it’s finally time to take some pictures of my new home. If you look closely, you can see that my kitchen is much different from what I envisioned. I’ve spent the past month working on the kitchen, and now that the dust is starting to settle, I’m ready to finally get started.
Like all the other home projects I’ve completed, I had a lot of help and I’m sure I could have done it on my own. One of the biggest parts of this project was taking multiple photographs of each room to show the progression of each room and how it’s different from the other ones. And of course, I can be a little impatient when its time to show people my home. And I know I dont have to be, I’m just getting started.
Well, let’s start from the beginning. Im going to be giving you a few days to take some of the photos. I will be uploading them on my website later today. This is one of the first ones in a series of photos of my kitchen, one of the most important rooms in my house. I love this room, I love it.
The kitchen is where I spend the majority of my time and to be honest, it is where I do most of my cooking and baking. That said, it is also the room where the majority of my friends hang out when I am not cooking them dinner. We talk and talk and talk. I don’t say much unless it is absolutely necessary. It doesn’t matter if I am drunk or not. I can’t really talk when I am drunk.
I have been in this room since I moved in, and I know every single one of the items in it. I have an enormous collection of cookbooks and recipes in this room, and I have made a pretty decent collection of cook books in my entire life (plus I have bought and cooked in the past).
You might be surprised to learn that most of my cookbooks aren’t written by me. I am the co-owner of a cookbook blog called The Recipe Monster and I also write about cooking and cooking trends on my website, Cooking with a Vengeance.
I love cookbooks and I love to cook, but I have a very specific reason for my obsession. I read all of them. I have gone through all of them over the last 4 months. I have even re-read some recipes.I was a very shy kid growing up, but I think I am the most shy I have ever been. I am kind of like a little kid who has to be super quiet and obedient all day long and I still feel like a kid.
I have always thought that if I ever get married, I want to have a cookbook or recipe collection that I can make for whoever I marry. It doesn’t have to be the same thing I make every day, it just has to be something I love. Like my dad’s roast chicken or my mom’s apple butter cookies. It has to be something that I have made a million times over in my head or in my fridge or on my breakfast table, or in my car.
I think the idea of food is really important to many of us. I think it’s something that has a lot more depth to it than just a meal. A meal is really just a way of spending time with your family. Even when we are eating, we are not eating for the sake of eating, but for the sake of being together. I have seen my dad and my mom cooking together and laughing while they are eating.
I think that we are all probably pretty bad at cooking. I mean, I’m pretty good at it. I like to cook, but I do tend to get really busy so it takes me a while to get back to it. I think that we are probably more of a family of eaters than we realize. We actually eat in our heads.
