I can’t tell you if its cool or not, but I made a 5 minutes craft, like a spoon but with a big spoon in it, using the cardboard I had around. That way when I put the spoon in, I can just flip it over and the spoon comes out. Now that is cool.
Yes, you may have to add some more flour and water, but I think that’s all you need to get started. The next step is to determine your goal, which is to get as many items as you can. This is your life. All you have to do is get things done. This is what you should strive to be when you create, not what you want to be when you die.
When crafting with cardboard, you want to make something that can be used again and again. So you want to make sure that you have something that you can use again. You don’t want to make something that is just used once and then thrown away. That’s why we use the spoon, because it’s the same stuff you would use on a spoon. And the paper is just to protect it. You don’t want to use every square of it, you want to keep it simple.
I’m usually a fan of using only the things I need for a job, but there is also a time in crafting where you can’t use anything you don’t need. This is basically the time where you want to make sure you can use whatever is in your crafting area or room. For instance, on this project I made, I used cardboard and the box on a plate to make a table, but I didn’t really need the table. And so I had to throw out the plate.
I find this sort of thing to be a little bit of a pain in the ass. The boxes you see in the picture above are the boxes that you see when you make a project and you need to discard the plate to make room for the next item. If you are crafty and have a good supply of cardboard, you can cut the plate from the cardboard and use it for what you need.
If you don’t have a lot of cardboard, you can always use plastic sheeting and just cut the top off. I found a piece of plastic sheeting at my local dollar store and cut it to fit. I also found a box of old cardboard and cut that to fit on top of the plastic sheeting.
You can also use a flat piece of cardboard as a template. The best part is you can do a lot of the same things in one step. Even using a plastic sheeting box, you can cut a lot of cardboard to fit in a matter of minutes. And you have the added benefit of not having to cut through the pieces at all.
I had a bunch of old cardboard and I thought something about the shape of the box I was using made it easy to cut. Turns out that cardboard is actually quite flexible and I could have used a bigger box of cardboard and still done the same thing.
