I am a self-proclaimed bad self-taught artist. I love to draw and love to paint, but I get distracted and forget to paint. This is why I have a bunch of paintings and sketches on my wall. I love drawing, but I wish that I didn’t feel so self-conscious about not being able to draw and paint like a pro. I’m always on the go so I end up drawing out of my comfort zone.
All about me drawings is a series of paintings and sketches for various artists that I admire. The paintings and sketches are not all for sale; some are in private collections and some are for sale. The paintings are mostly in acrylics and are more about the subject matter, while the sketches are mostly in oils and are more about the style of the artist. A new blog or a new website doesn’t mean your old one is dead. You can start a new one, it just means you need to learn how to manage it yourself. The website is still very much alive, but it is new and still in the process of getting things set up. You can see more of the works I’ve made on my MySpace page.
I just got an update on the blog from my editor, so I wanted to drop a note about that too. As you might expect, the website is still in its infancy. The blog still exists, but it is not quite complete. The blog is mostly just a hub for me to post pictures, links, and other things that I find interesting. It has a few more features planned, but it is not quite finished yet.
The blog is still a work in progress. It is still a little rough around the edges, but the work continues. I will try to update the blog less frequently, but I do have a few things on my mind that I want to post about as the site develops. The blog will also allow me to share more of my content with you, so that you can see the things I do that you might find interesting.
I’m not quite sure when the blog will be completed, but it will likely be sometime in the next few months. The blog will be an evolving sort of thing, and you will be able to see more of what I have to say when I post it. I am still very much a work in progress and will likely have some major changes happening over the next few months. I will also have some other things I want to share more of in the blog.
