Well, you may think these are all just dieting-related issues, but it turns out that eating too much processed junk has a whole host of other health effects. And the good news is that it can be easy to change this habit.
It turns out that eating processed junk (or junk foods) is just a symptom of a serious medical problem. In fact, a study published in the American Journal of Preventative Medicine found that nearly half of the people eating the most processed junk also had high blood pressure, cholesterol, and blood sugar levels. But what is the real cause of these health issues? A new study published in the journal Frontiers in Nutrition suggests that the problem may be in your gut bacteria.
The study looked at 18 people all with the same gut bacterial profile, all of which had high blood sugar levels. After a 12-week diet that included a daily supplement of probiotic bacteria, the blood sugar levels went down dramatically, and the study’s authors suggest the probiotics may have helped with the reduction in blood sugar levels.
For me, it came down to a personal decision of whether or not I was going to go on a diet to get healthier. If I was going to do a diet, I needed to decide whether or not I wanted to have a diet that would be unhealthy to eat. If I was going to eat a healthy diet, I knew my gut bacteria would be different than other people’s, so I needed to decide if I wanted to change my gut bacteria.
If you’re going to eat healthy food, you will want to keep your health as a priority. If you’re going to eat unhealthy food, it is hard to change that. If your gut bacteria are normal, then you are healthy. If they are not healthy, then you must change them. And that is what we are doing here.
