I have been looking around to see what a bulk colored pencil is and ended up buying the two bulk colored pencils from a company called 3D Pencils. These are the two I am using in my art class and they are both awesome. The first is a watercolor pencil with a very fine point, the second is a acrylic pencil with a much thinner point. Both are great for drawing and color mixing.
I have to say, I love the idea of buying a watercolor pencil, but I have to say I don’t like the idea of buying a acrylic pencil. I think these are probably going to be a bit more expensive than the other pencils I’ve tried, but they are great.

Theyre not really made out of any pigment in the water, but they are colored with a dye. So you get a great variety of colors from one pencil. You can make the colors darker or even lighter, but you cant really make them black or white. I think that this will be a great product for anyone who needs that sort of versatility.
Basically, a bulk colored pencil is simply a watercolor pencil with a paper backing. The reason they’re bulk is because there is no pigment in the water, only the dye. It is an all-in-one product. The paper backing is what makes the pencils look like watercolor drawings.
Bulk colored pencils are a great product for anyone who likes a variety of colors and a great way to practice watercolor painting. I find that they are also great for people who want something that is not as thick, or as stiff, as watercolor paints, but that still has the ability to have the same watercolor effect that watercolor does.
Bulk colored pencils are available in 3 different thicknesses: Super Fine, Fine, and Extra Fine. I think you should buy the Super Fine and Fine ones and then buy the Extra Fine ones if you want the finer effect.
I think the Extra Fine ones are the best of the bunch. A lot of people like the thicker and stiffer effect that the Fine ones have, but the Extra Fine ones have the best water color effect. If you’re not happy with the best quality, then I suggest buying the Super Fine ones.
Bulk colored pencils work best for drawing on the paper. The finer the pencil, the thicker and stiffer ink it will be. This is why I recommend getting the Super Fine or Fine pencils and then buying the Extra Fine ones. The Fine pencils will be too thick and stiff for the paper.
I always recommend a lot of water color and black and white work. But if you are just starting out and you want to draw something with colored pencils, you can also use the fine watercolor pencils and do a few inks. Just make sure you use a good quality and thick watercolor pencil or you will get a lot of ink on the paper, but not the best effect.
