I just love this card, “I’m going to kill myself.” It’s a simple sentence that really shows how much you care about your students.
I can’t say I’ve ever had a class card before, but I know I’m going to love the ones I have and the ones I’ll be making. My classroom is a pretty small one at my school (50 students) so I’ve been using them as a way of making a space at least a little bit more fun and interactive. Because they’re simple, yet so thoughtful and thoughtful I thought I’d share a few cards I made with you.
Class cards are definitely a great way to make a classroom feel more personal. They can be just as simple as a card that says, “What did you learn in class today?” or “Remember to take your lunch with you.” I love how they add a little something extra, whether it’s showing how your class was, how you’ve changed over the course of the year, or how you feel about the class overall.
I love how they remind me to take a break from class. Because classes are usually pretty boring, I always feel like I should be doing schoolwork, reading books or other assignments to get more accomplished. But with these cards, I dont feel like I have to get any schoolwork done. Instead, I feel like I have time to write a thank you note on my work card or to add a note to the back of my class list.

But now, with these class valentines, I can’t feel like I have to work out any math or other assignments or any other schoolwork. Instead, I can just write all my feelings off.
