These adorable halloween drawings by photographer Andrew H. Cates are perfect for Halloween.
You know you’re in your own halloween world when the pictures are accompanied by a song that plays during the drawing. In this case Andrew’s band, The Tunes, sings in the background as the little girl’s doorknob turns red. The Tunes is a pretty good band too, but I’m not complaining, I just got them a free download from the web store.
Andrew H. Cates did a very good job of capturing the spirit of the Halloween season, but he did a little bit too much in the way of making this halloween image. If you’re wondering what’s wrong with my picture of cute halloween girls, it’s that I drew them all by hand.
The problem with drawing on the computer is that you generally end up drawing the same way over and over. So while you could have really drawn the girls, you would end up drawing the same thing over and over again. I think it’s the same problem we have with writing. I can’t make up my mind if I should leave out the parts I don’t like about the story, or if I should add them in. You get the idea.
I think there is a real problem with having too many unique characters, especially if you’re writing a kids book. The problem is that you end up with a book with many different characters. The problem with having too many different characters is that you end up with a book with a mess of characters all standing around saying theyre all the same, but then all having very different personalities.
In fact, this whole issue of having too many characters is also a problem with the other novel type of book, the “genre novel,” which is a term coined by the writer of the above mentioned book. A genre novel deals with themes such as a battle between good and evil that are common in war. Often, the themes are explored in a fictional way, but the characters themselves are not the real characters in the story.
A genre novel is one that has very different characters. The characters in books such as Gone with the Wind or The Godfather are very different from the characters of a light-hearted mystery novel. And, as I just mentioned, a light-hearted mystery novel is a genre novel, but the characters and themes are not the real ones of the story.
The genre novel approach to writing tends to be a bit more realistic, since the characters are real people. And, as I mentioned above, if the characters aren’t the real ones, then the themes are just a fiction.
This is why we dont expect to see many light-hearted mystery novels in the future. Because the real thing is far from lighthearted.
The point is, the characters in a realistic mystery novel (as in a hard-boiled detective or murder mystery) are very real people. But if the story is about real life, then the characters are just fiction.
