A recent post on my Facebook wall mentioned a “day of the dead drawing”. The idea is that you can draw in the middle of a day and get creative with the imagery. I’m not sure what that means exactly, but there are many interesting ideas for people to create with the idea of the day of the dead. I’ve seen a few people draw their day of the dead with an image of the day they will be dead.
This drawing was done by a friend who apparently did the drawing on the day of the dead. There is an excellent article on Fotologie about this drawing that explains the drawing in detail.
Another interesting concept comes from the idea that you can draw the day of the dead with different colors. Here is a picture of how you can do this. This image (and picture from a different article) shows you how to color a day of the dead.
These days, most people don’t have to get up at 3am anymore to paint their home. Instead of waking up at 3am to paint your home, you can do that for a flat $40 and paint your house in the afternoon on your lunch break. If you have very poor eyesight or you don’t like the colors you can change the background color, but these days you can just buy a cheap computer and do this.
This is really great! I love the idea of the colors. I like the idea of not having to wake up at 3am. I like that we can do this and change the background colors later. I like that it isnt just about being aware in the first place. I like that it is about changing ourselves. It is about realizing that we are not the center of our own universe, that there is more to life than what we see on television.
The whole thing is about changing ourselves – changing our habits and routines, changing our relationships, changing our relationships with our friends and family, changing our relationships with the world around us. That’s what really got me thinking about this idea of drawing ideas. It doesn’t have to be about drawing the whole world up. It could be about drawing the things we love into our world, or drawing the things that we don’t care about.
I was talking to a friend yesterday and she was thinking about the idea of drawing ideas from a single person’s life. I suggested that maybe we could just get people to draw an idea off of a drawing of someone they love or something they love. It makes a lot of sense, and I think it would be interesting.
In the near future, we’re going to be able to draw ideas for ourselves (or at least for the first time) that are based off of other people’s life. The problem is that we can’t be able to draw the whole world up, so we’ll have to choose our ideas based off of our lives.
I think this kind of thinking is called “self-awareness,” and it’s the thing that’s going to be necessary to help us draw great art from art we like. One of the things that I love about the game is that it’s about the process, not just the end product. This is true because a lot of the people that are creating are in a similar position as a lot of us, as artists who often have to create something outside of their usual genre to get paid.
You know, I’ve just been a fan of Deathloop since the trailer came out. And I also think I’ve got a pretty good idea of what the game is about. I think a lot of us are in the same position and we just need a little push to get out from under our own ‘gut’.
