Well, there’s the obvious, that the student health center itself does a lot for the community. And the best part is, it’s free.
The health center is one of the largest and most vital public assets in the city, and a student in the health center is not going to just sit around and do nothing. So like most other public assets in the city, that means the health center needs to be maintained and modernized. This is where the money comes in. In the past, the free health center was funded by donations from students, but that went away after the 2008 economic downturn.
The health center needs to be modernized because of a growing problem in the city. The number of people who don’t have health insurance (or worse, don’t know they don’t have it) has exploded over the past decade. We need to make sure that all of those people have access to affordable, quality health care. Our medical staff works hard to put in place the best care possible, and that means we need to pay for it.
drexel has always been an excellent resource for student health care. We support programs like the Drexel Student Health Center, and we have many students who use the center as a place to get medical care. However, we’re facing a growing number of people with insurance who are not currently covered by drexel. These students don’t have access to the medical staff that we offer, and they need the services that we provide.
If you’re not familiar with drexel, it stands for DeWitt-Eagle School of Engineering and Applied Science. That’s a very small medical school in Philadelphia, dedicated to producing engineering and science majors. It’s one of the schools that have been getting a lot of national attention lately, because it’s a place where many of the famous engineers go.
The health center is a lot more than that. They serve children like Colt who have medical conditions that seem to be more of a problem in this day and age. They have a full-service pharmacy, emergency room, and pediatric emergency room. They also have two orthopedic surgery clinics where students with orthopedic issues can get their broken bones fixed.
It’s the idea that our bodies should be able to heal themselves. The idea that we can be healed at any age whether we’re five years old or 100. It’s an idea that’s very much at the forefront of the health policy debate in this country, because it’s not just about health, but also about safety and personal freedom. It’s also a belief that is very much a part of our current political landscape.
The concept of a university is to create a place where people are able to go to learn. The idea that there is a place for everyone and every interest. Its also a belief that we should allow people to be educated without taking away their ability to speak and read. I think that this is a very important idea that is being debated.
I remember as a child, going to the country’s first all-girls boarding school. The school was all white, and all the girls were pretty. But I don’t think thats what we call a healthy school anymore. Now, when we hear the word “gender” in a school, we think about it as “girls.
In the past, the school was called “The White House of the North.” I think its a very good name, and there is definitely a healthy school in that school. But I also think that it might be more accurate to say that when girls go to the countrys first all-girls boarding school, they are not in fact the girls, but rather the girls in the White House of the North.
