I’ve been a fan of Joe Simon’s artwork for many years. It’s clean, simple, and to the point. His work is a reflection of his style, which is a lot like mine. A lot of his artwork is influenced by his upbringing in Chicago. The Chicago suburbs are where he grew up and he’s based his art off this urban environment.
Ive been drawing for over six years now, and Im not sure it is an accident that I also happen to be a big fan of the Chicago style. Joe Simons is such a cool guy that a lot of people Ive known since I was maybe 11 years old can attest to how amazing he is. Joe is also doing a lot of work for the new D&D 5e game, so I guess you could say he’s a member of the D&D 5e crew.
I can’t think of a better artist than Joe. I mean I know the guy was pretty good at his job when I was in high school, I just don’t think I ever get the chance to get to know him enough to say how good he is. The thing I do like about him is that he does a lot of the things he is doing, but he also does them so well that Im not sure I can do everything he is doing, either.
That being said, if you are looking for a game company to help you make some DampD 5e content, Joe is probably a good option. You can even ask him for some ideas on how to make something before you make it. He has a great track record for making something cool.
Easy boy is one of those rare guys who does things all wrong, yet he does them quite well. He is very talented and creative, but he doesn’t always do it the right way. I personally found his latest video to be very entertaining and very creative, but I also think some of his earlier ones were somewhat off-putting. There is definitely a good reason for that.
He is quite a talent too, but he also seems to do some things quite badly, and his videos are littered with a lot of mistakes. One in particular was quite a mess.
This is a great example of what I like to refer to as artistic “bad luck.” Just a few days ago I noticed that one of my favorite YouTube channel’s videos had an issue, and this is what I saw. It was a very well-done video, and I was excited to see it in the hands of a talented artist like him. Unfortunately, it was simply a mistake.
Artistic bad luck is when a mistake comes out of your hands that makes you look bad, but then it ends up being seen by many people. It doesn’t have to be a mistake. It could be just a lapse in judgment and it could also be the artist trying to get noticed.
Artists often struggle with this, but the fact that you are even able to get it right is evidence that you are not a bad artist. In this case, the artist was able to get it right because his mistake was artistic bad luck. Artists can get this wrong more often than you think, and it can really throw off your confidence and make you question your work.
Even though you can get it right, you still never know how good you are until you see someone else’s work. That’s why we ask artists to include a little sketch of their work as part of their portfolio. When you’re giving your work to a client, you would be amazed at the amount of detail and the attention to detail that you can put into your work. You can also ask the client to do a sketch for you so you can see how they are feeling.
