There are a lot of mental health problems that we are all aware of, but there are also a lot that we don’t know about. This one is about those “hidden” issues that affect us.
Mental health issues are a very sensitive topic and there is a lot of stigma around them. So many of us have suffered in silence for so long because there is no easy way to get the help we need. The mental health hotline is a new phone app that allows anyone to call in and be told if they need to go to the hospital to get help. The hotline is supposed to reduce those stigma surrounding mental health issues, but they should also help people who may struggle with their mental health.
The app currently only works within the United States. In the U.K. the mental health hotline is called the National Suicide Support Line and it is funded by the Government. In the U.S., Crisis Text Line is the national mental health hotline. For more info or to get an app, visit the app store.

By making mental health easier to access, we can make it less stigmatized, and more accessible to everyone.
The app called for me to check my phone for a minute, and my response was, “Nah, can’t be. I’ve been on Crisis Text Line for years, and I hate it.” I think that’s the point. Crisis Text Line is an important, but stigmatized, topic, and it’s not always easy to access.
Although I was on a mental health hotline for a long time, I never found that it was too stigmatized. I guess I just didn’t realize how many people are on them. But with the app, you can use it to make a list of any number of mental health issues and send it to a person you know. You can also use it to make a list of any situation or event that someone is having a hard time dealing with.
I have used the app for a few different situations, but it is very useful. I was on mine when I was in the middle of a divorce. I was just a bit more depressed than normal, and I had called about my divorce, had left a message about it, and had sent a text message to my ex-husband.
I have my own mental health issues, and I’ve been to a couple of the mental health hotlines in the area. My therapist was a little difficult to schedule, and was always late, but most of the time she made it worth my while. And if she wasn’t able to see me, she did give me the phone number of someone who did see me who I could call to make an appointment.
My therapist was an awesome person who, on the rare occasion that I have the chance to go see her, usually does a damn good job. She is very approachable, makes me feel like I can get through anything, and always makes me feel like I am on the right track. She actually helped me see things in a new light.
I would recommend that you schedule an appointment with your therapist, especially if you’re feeling stressed out or sad. She’ll be able to help you with all of your problems and stressors in a very effective way.
