In an effort to get the best bang for the buck, I signed up for the new, national health insurance program. My goal was to get a cheap and healthy package that would cover my family in the event of a serious illness or emergency. In the end, I did not get the cheapest, most expensive, or most affordable plan. I have since decided to take advantage of the waiver to get my family covered now, even if that means paying out of pocket.
For some reason, I thought the waiver that was supposed to take only 9 months would be a lot more affordable than any of the other plans. Turns out, the waiver is supposed to last only 6 months, and if you cancel within that time frame, it’ll be refunded. So I’m actually paying for a whole year, but at least it’s not going to be too expensive.
Well, the thing is that you don’t have to pay for a year. You can cancel anytime. The only catch is that you’ll be refunded in full for that year. So basically, your insurance company will just send you a check for the full amount of the premium, including the amount you paid in premiums and the deductible.
Well, that’s not a very practical situation. What if you cancel now and don’t get the refund? You won’t be able to cancel the insurance for another 6 months. Now, I don’t think anyone wants that to happen, but if that’s how it works, then you have no choice. Plus, if you use this insurance for a year, then youll be paying for 6 months worth of coverage anyway.
My family and I are pretty set with our health insurance, so it wasn’t much of a problem to cancel. I also don’t think anyone will be using this insurance for a year, because they’ll be paying for it for the full 6 months. Plus, if you use this insurance for a year, then youre paying for 6 months worth of coverage anyway.
Well, we are paying for 6 months worth of coverage. But you can pay for 7 months of coverage and save a little money. Plus, after you pay a month and then you pay another month, you can still pay for another month for a free month and another month for a full month.
And if you are like me and think that you can’t afford to pay for any type of insurance, you can opt out of having this insurance (and any other insurance) by filing a claim with your insurance company. The cost is $500. The company will then pay for the full 6 months worth of coverage.
Now, I’m not saying I don’t have health insurance. I do. I just haven’t been covered. This is just a warning to those of you who would rather not have to get this insurance coverage.
Now that’s going to be kind of a strange request. When you say, “I dont have health insurance,” do you mean that you do not have health insurance? You’re not saying you don’t have health insurance? You’re saying you don’t have health insurance that is. There’s no way I can know this for sure. I could be reading it wrong. I’m just trying to get you to back off the insurance plan you currently have.
Insurance is expensive. It can be very difficult to find a doctor or hospital that will accept you. At this point it would be a good idea to cancel your current insurance and take out the nyu health insurance waiver. This means you can go to a new doctor or get insurance that will cover your medical bills. This includes doctors that use nyu health insurance.
