In the same vein, I feel like resin catalysts are the new acrylic color for the season. They’re a resin-based paint that can be layered into a varnish, making them a very versatile choice for even the most mundane home projects.
I’m not sure how resin catalysts relate to resin paints, but they are both resins that are used to create varnishes, and I think theyve both been around for a while.

So if you use a varnish, you can layer a varnish over it, and use it for paint work, or you can use it in a different way altogether.
