I am a global health and law student of Sonis Web Global Health. I am currently working towards a Masters in Public Policy and Global Health. I am a strong believer that public policy should be a student’s first option. The fact is that there is so much that is unknown and that there are so many things that we can’t control. We can only control our actions and our choices.
Yes! We can only control our actions and our choices. It’s like we have a choice as to whether or not we go to college. So while I am happy to say that I am now in a position where I can get into Sonis, I know that I am just as happy to say that I am now at home.
The Sonis website has an interesting article about some of the things that the students can control. One of the things that I’ve noticed, is that Sonis encourages them to “Go to school or not go to school.” I’m not sure if this is the same as “go to college or not go to college.” I feel this type of phrasing seems to be a bit less positive than college or not college.
For school, Sonis encourages students to go to school to use their time wisely. For non-school use, the website says that if you want to get a job, you should go to college. I think I may have said that, but I am sure I said something else, as I have not been to college.
If you go to college, then you will probably have to take exams and study for them. Even if you don’t mind taking exams, you will have to prepare for them. College doesn’t make you any smarter though.
I thought this would be a great idea until I realized that in order to apply for college at Sonis, you need to first enroll in some sort of school. Even without going to college, you can still get a job at Sonis. So you can do that without going to college by going to work at Sonis.
Sonis is a global health college. If you want to study global health, why not enroll at Sonis? Sonis has an entire floor devoted to Global Health. You can even do online classes that are taught by professors from all around the world. It’s also a school that requires you do some sort of online coursework, and not just the traditional traditional exams that you need to take at the beginning of each semester.
Sonis also offers full medical, dental, and vision insurance. This is great because if things do go wrong when you’re in some foreign city, Sonis can pay for medical and vision care in the US. It’s not as good if you end up in the Philippines because you need those services for yourself.
