I have been talking about health and happiness for years now. I have published a lot of advice on how to get better, feel better, and live a healthy life. But I am not a medical doctor or anything. So I have never had a physician tell me anything about my health status. That is until recently. I have been working a lot with my diet and fitness and wellness over the last two years.
Well, to be honest, my diet and fitness are pretty healthy. I eat a very balanced diet and get a lot of fresh fruits and veggies in my diet. I am more or less a vegetarian. I do not have a lot of weight to lose. I do not smoke. I do have a lot of water in my diet. But there is one thing I would change. I would get more exercise. I don’t have an active job.
I think that is the most common misconception people have about fitness. We might think that if you have a health problem, you are weak. We are not weak. We can do anything we put our minds to. We are, after all, humans.
My biggest fear with exercise is it’s going to take the muscle away from the rest of my body. I have no problem walking everywhere in this world, but if I can’t move my legs it really limits me. And no, I don’t have to have an exercise plan. I can just do it.

However, no matter how hard you try, you will never, ever be strong physically. And as a result, there is a lot of pressure to keep up a lifestyle that is physically demanding, which makes you over-committing and giving up on your health.
