Our tri area community health center is located at 2175 N. Central Ave. (in the heart of the Tri Community). We are a non-profit organization that provides the community with health care services.
Our health center is located in the heart of the Tri Community, but we also serve outlying areas of East Austin, the University of Texas, the Southside, and the East Side. We have a full-time receptionist, nurse practitioner, and doctor on staff.
Our clinic’s goal is to provide people with the latest and most advanced medical services. We have both in-house and out-patient services. Our out-patient clinic is located at 3500 S. Lamar Blvd. We are a non-profit organization, with an annual budget of $150,000. Our in-house clinic is also located in the heart of our community, but we only have our in-house doctor on staff.
We’ve got doctors and nurses, but the greatest difference between us and the other facilities we have is our emphasis on preventative care. We are one of the few facilities that offer free preventative healthcare to our residents. We are proud to be the only health facility in the southeast Texas area that has a free clinic. Our services are free and available for all ages and abilities. No appointment is needed, and we work with our residents to provide preventative care.
In addition to our free health and wellness services, we also have a full service family medicine practice, and a full service emergency room. We also perform surgeries, many of which are life saving.
We have an excellent team of doctors and nurses that we provide all of our patients with. All of these services are free and available for all residents, regardless of their insurance status. We are very proud to work with the area’s leading health care providers to ensure a healthy and happy community.
I love that tri area health is free. If the government was as concerned about the health of their citizens as we are, there are lots of ways that free health care could be spread throughout the communities.
As a resident of the tri area we are very proud to be able to provide free health care. This is a big deal for us, though, because we currently only have three doctors in the tri area. This will be a major issue when we have to go to another area hospital.
The free tri area health plan covers three visits to a doctor. If you go to a tri area doctor you can see a doctor in the tri area, but you can also see the same doctor in the neighboring community. It’s a very good arrangement, which is why we are pushing for more doctors in our community.
We’re currently looking at a new tri area doctor. This doctor is going to be part of our tri area health plan.
