I think we should all take a page out of their book and get as obsessed with our health as they are. A great way to achieve this is to be an active participant in your local health and fitness club.
What exactly a health and fitness club is, is an excellent mystery to me. But I am a little confused because I thought they were organizations that organized physical workouts or activities for all of us to partake in. So I asked my colleague, who happens to be a former fitness instructor and a member of the local club, and she said they are more like a group of people who organize health and fitness classes and activities to fit our needs.
So it depends on what you mean by “health and fitness club.” Generally speaking a fitness club is a place like the YMCA that focuses on a specific type of fitness, e.g. weight training, cardiovascular, etc. In this case the health club is part of the physical fitness structure in your neighborhood.
As a general rule, the more people that attend a gym the better the facilities and the better the atmosphere. But if all you have is a gym you likely won’t get the best results. That’s why a fitness club is so important. A lot of gyms are not in good shape. They aren’t well maintained and you won’t get the best results unless you have a lot of people coming in and out.
However, if that is the case then why would you bring a health club to your neighborhood? When I lived in New York I could walk to any of my gym memberships and the facilities were great. They were clean, the staff was friendly, and they were always there. Thats not even mentioning the atmosphere. The people were there to work out and I was constantly surprised at how much they looked like fitness enthusiasts, or people who just want to work out.
I remember seeing the gym at a local hospital in the late 90s and I was instantly smitten. The facility was clean, the staff were friendly, and while there were some people in there who had the stereotypical fitness attitude, I didn’t feel the need to ask for a massage. I knew where I stood with that. I was a real health nut.
I’m sure there are plenty of health clubs in the world that are a lot cleaner and more organized. But there’s something special about the look and feel of these clubs. It’s not just the people or the facilities. It’s the way the people are dressed. I find it incredibly sexy.
It was my first time in a health club, and I found it to be very clean, friendly people, and a ton of muscle. It was the most professional and energetic gym I’ve ever been to. When I first walked in I thought, “this is the biggest club I’ve ever been to.” But I was wrong. While it was the cleanest I’d ever been, I was also the least impressed with the way the people were dressed.

The second time I walked in I thought its the most professional and the most energetic gym Ive ever been to. But I was wrong.
The club has two main spaces and three main areas. The main areas are the main gym, the club lounge, and a lounge for the staff. The lounge is equipped with TVs, computers, and a projector for watching videos. In addition, members have lockers, free weights, and a full menu of fitness classes. There is even a full-sized pool and sauna.
