We are often too busy to take the time to get that “checkup” shot we are so looking forward to. It is important to get a few shots a year to keep us healthy, but we tend to be quick to get an annual flu shot. Our bodies are so easily fooled by the latest fad that we can easily become infected with the flu by the time the seasonal flu vaccine comes out.
This is something I have been discussing with my patients for at least five years now. We have an excellent doctor who makes sure to get the annual flu shot, but that’s not enough and so we take our time to get our annual mammograms.
The fact is, the only way to ensure that we get the flu shot is to get it at the first sign of a cold or the flu. So one of the best ways to get the flu shot is to get it in the winter, and if that doesn’t work, then to get it in spring. But here’s the thing, if you stop taking your annual flu shot when you have a cold or flu, then you can easily get it again.
We get to do exactly this in the new game, uw health pharmacy. The game takes you to a small hospital that is set up for the purpose of administering the annual flu shot, and you can find out how to get it in the winter and spring, plus you can keep a tally of how many years you have accumulated. But if you stop taking your annual flu shot when you have a cold or flu, then you can easily get it again.
This game is a bit of a mixed bag. On one hand you get to see the health system in action, and on the other you get to see the potential for a sequel. You have no idea if this is a fun game, but if you do have a cold or flu, then you can easily get a shot again.
Well, we didn’t get a sense of the actual health system in the game, nor did we get a sense of how many people have gotten sick for the same reason and how many of those people have gotten a vaccine. It seems that the system in the game isn’t very sophisticated. But if you’re sick and you want to get a vaccine, then it’s still going to be a good game, only without the stupid health insurance option.
I think a game that makes it so that people can get a vaccine without insurance is not a good idea. The first thing that happened when vaccine shots came out was that they were so cheap, that most people thought that getting a vaccine was something that only existed in the movies. Also, there were many people who would go to great lengths to get a vaccine. This is especially true of the flu shots.
I’ve played a few vaccine shooters. In one of them, you could get the vaccine on the bus. This is because there was a vaccine on the bus, but still, the insurance company said that you couldn’t get it because you had to have a doctor’s prescription. The second vaccine was a shot into a glass that looked like a fish tank. This was the most popular, and probably the most effective vaccine, because it was a little bit cheaper than the other two.
